Do you love decorating your home for Christmas? Bringing the boxes down from the attic that were carefully and lovingly packed away the year before (or thrown in hastily, ahem, guilty as charged)! It’s always exciting to see the decs again, your favourite bauble, all those happy memories (like the year you set fire to the teatowel because you’d imbibed too much breakfast Champers, er just me..?). It’s all well and good keeping the decs year after year, but it can get a bit tired, decorating your house the same way every year…which is where Pamela Gearing who owns Texture Interiors steps in.Read more
Well they came, they sang and they conquered and Muddy was lucky enough to be within spitting distance of Jason Manford who played the role of Caractacus Potts (rather ruddy well actually)! More well-known for appearances on TV shows such Live at the Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats and QI, the seemingly multi-talented Jason Manford took to the stage like the proverbial duck to water.Read more

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, Errol Flynn Filmhouse, Fri 29 Jul
Appropriate for their big screen debut, Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone are still oozing glitz and glamour, living the high life they are accustomed to; shopping, drinking and clubbing their way around London’s trendiest hotspots (ahhh I remember the halcyon days). But when they accidentally push Kate Moss into the river Thames at an uber fashionable launch party, Eddy and Patsy become entangled in a media storm surrounding the supermodel’s untimely demise and are relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi.
With the weather set fair, and summer holidays on the horizon, there’s still a fair bit to do and we haven’t even reached end of term. There are loads of fantastic outdoor events taking place across the county, this weekend in particular, and if you are thinking of taking up residency in Northants this summer then there’s plenty more to come, so book mark your Muddy What’s On Guide each week!

Suitable for complete beginners and for those who have had a go, but would like to learn more!Read more
Something’s happened in the towns of Market Harborough, Kettering, Peterborough and Wellingborough; a kind of shabby, chic lounging experience, only enhanced by a spicy Bloody Mary and a ridiculously delish brioche burger (AND a dicky bird tells me it’s coming to Corby soon, so you’ll never be wanting for a decent Bloody Mary again). Now the reason I’m so excited is not necessarily the fact you can get a decent cocktail (which you can).Read more
