The Castle Theatre goes Atomic (Kitten)

Natasha Hamilton is the panto star this Christmas! Aladdin is going to blow your socks off! Oh yes it is...

Oooooh it’s that time of year where the theatres are announcing their Panto star and The Castle Theatre has bagged pop star and musical theatre actress Natasha Hamilton (you remember Atomic Kitten doncha?!). This year’s panto is Aladdin and the fun-packed action will run from Saturday 14 December to Tuesday 31 December.

As you OBVIOUSLY know, Natasha Hamilton is a third of one of the most successful girl bands of the past 20 years, Atomic Kitten, releasing iconic classic hits including Eternal Flame, It’s Ok! And The Tide is High. Natasha was also a housemate in 2015’s Celebrity Big Brother and also appeared in Channel 4’s love show, First Dates (busy gal).

No theatre newbie, Natasha has been part of loads of other musical theatre productions, debuting as Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brother’s, playing the role of Maureen in the Tony Award winning musical Rent and also joining the v handsome Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff in the musical theatre adaption of Fat Friends (this gal is just bursting with talent and stage presence)!

General Manager of The Castle Theatre, Martin Cleverley was brimming with positivity when we spoke to him:

“We’re delighted to have Natasha Hamilton join our cast of Aladdin this Christmas! She’s got a good fan base and is experienced on the stage. This will be Castle Theatre’s first professionally produced in-house Pantomime, and we are really excited for families to join us for what will be a quality panto packed full of songs, dances and hilarious slapstick comedy!”

We’ve been to most of The Castle pantos and have never had a bad time; so pick a date, book your tickets and fly on down on your magic carpet to watch Natasha and the cast perform this year’s magical Christmas pantomime. There’s free parking too, what more incentive do you need?
