Guess How Much Muddy loved “Guess How Much I Love You”…???

The Core at Corby Cube gets it bang on with its latest production perfect to keep those littlies occupied!

A trip to the theatre is always a joy so Muddy sent staffer Rachel Rose and her little Mudlet to The Core at Corby Cube to get the lowdown on their latest production…

We have survived our first half term (yay!) but by Friday the littlest Muddy was flagging, with his big brother at tennis camp, (his choice not mine!) we were in need of an activity that did not involve a county park or welly boots, and preferably snacks and a coffee!

Enter stage left (no pun intended!) The Core at Corby Cube with with an adorable stage adaptation of Guess How Much I Love You. The show brings to the stage the story of Little and Big Nutbrown Hare who, when they go to sleep each night, experience the magic of the seasons changing around them.

The Selladdor Family production featured puppetry, live music and interactive play which combined for a serene  and engaging theatre experience for us both. As usual we were running against time (bad Mummy) but all around us children were waving their rabbit creations during the show, made in the hour long craft session held by the theatre before the show, which definitely adds to the ticket value and appeal for little ones.

Before I knew it the seasons had passed and the show came to a peaceful end, just what we both needed! The tour is on its last few days but the experience definitely wet my whistle for booking in our Christmas holiday show. I just happen to know that Beauty and the Beast is running from 7 Dec – 30 Dec and with rave reviews from its 22,000 spectators at its Cambridge/Bristol run it looks to be a winner for older Mudlets.

‘Guess How Much I Love You’ has now finished but it’s got us counting down the days for their next show. Tickets can be booked by calling the Box Office on 01536 470470 or online.
