The Everywhere Bear
An immersive show which gets the littlies hooked from the get go, 45 mins of peace and quiet...bliss!
The Everywhere Bear is in a nutshell simply delightful and Muddy’s Rachel Rose (plus this littlies) seemed to have had a wonderful time, here’s the lowdown…
It was our first time visiting the Underground Studio at the Royal & Derngate, and it was the perfect setting for a show for little ones. We entered to low lights and huge floor cushions spread in front of the staging and chairs dotted around the edge for us to settle into. I particularly loved that the lead actors were all ready on stage performing meaning that the Mudlets were sucked straight into the performance.
The whole show from the imaginative puppetry to lyrics and stage design were all so imaginative and clever we were all totally immersed in the story of the The Everywhere Bear by Julia Donaldson & Rebecca Cobb, it really amazed me how the props and staging changed time and time again to create different scenes as we travelled along with the Bear on his adventures.
The Everywhere Bear is a perfect activity over the festive holidays and the running time of approx 45 mins with no interval is perfect for under 7’s. When asked his favourite part our eldest Mudlet aged five replied “all of it” and I couldn’t agree with him more.
The show runs until 6 Jan and tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office: 01604 624811 or online.
