Upgraded Castle Theatre takes the limelight
Just in time for panto season The Castle Theatre have revealed their new seating, giving all guests a comfy seat for Aladdin. Oh yes it will...
Flash new seating alert! The Castle Theatre has unveiled show-stopping new seating after being granted capital money by Borough Council of Wellingborough in 2017. And it’s just in time for panto season so you can kick back, relax and enjoy the show in much more comfort. Original seating has been donated to local venues and organisations where possible, one of them being Putney Arts Theatre, a registered charity.
Martin Cleverley, the Castle Theatre’s General Manager (who we’ve met and is very nice) says: “2019 has seen a great deal of work take place within the Castle Theatre including a new look bar, the current redecoration and soon to be open restaurant and the cherry on top of the cake is the arrival and fitting of the new seating for the main auditorium. All of which will enhance our customers visitor experience. A huge thank you must go the Borough Council of Wellingborough for their support on the project.”
Emma McGinlay, Project Manager at the Borough Council of Wellingborough, added: “The Castle Theatre is one of the most iconic venues in Wellingborough and is enjoyed by hundreds of residents each year. We are delighted to be able to support the upgrades to venue by funding new seating which will vastly improve customer experience, just in time for this year’s Pantomime, Aladdin!”
We’re tres excited to go over and watch this year’s panto Aladdin, especially now our bums are taken care of. If you haven’t got your tickets yet, grab them here and watch the fab Natasha Hamilton take to the stage from Sat 14th – Tue 31st December.
