WHAM! – Throwback to the 80s
Find a pair of neon leggings, some oversized jewellery and grab a club tropicana drink (no, they aren't free, sorry!) at The Castle, Wellingborough as you experience the very best of Wham! a musical experience taking you right back to the 80’s.
It’s been 37 years since George and Andrew formed one of the greatest bands of the 80’s, producing some absolute bangers from I’m Your Man to Club Tropicana (ahhhh how teen us swooned). And still, after all this time people love a bit of Wham! If that’s you, The Castle Theatre is hosting an unmissable new show with big hair, leather jackets and a whole lot of spandex! Experience all of Wham’s iconic hits all in one night, plus some of their B side tracks and some of George Michael’s unforgettable tracks, all thanks to Sweeney Entertainment (the show will be showing at venues across the UK if you can’t make this one)!
The Best of WHAM! has it all, a great live band, brilliant vocals, even better choreography and throwback costumes. It all has a bunch of talent including lead man Ben Evans performing as George Michael. Ben’s a talented actor who has been doing what he does so well since he was 8 years old. He’s gone onto starring in Les Miserables, Oliver, Casualty, Waking The Dead and a whole lot more, so he’s definitely a good man for the job.
Sweeney Entertainment have been gracing stages with the very best shows for over eighteen years here in the UK and overseas, so they definitely aren’t going to hold back on giving you a performance you won’t want to miss. 2018 was their busiest year yet and has some more great performances expected, so keep an eye out. Co-founder Julie Sweeney said: “We are thrilled to be presenting this amazing new show to venues across the UK – this is a non-stop WHAM! party that is sure to leave audiences singing and dancing the whole way home!”
Tickets are available right now and the show is on Saturday September 7 at 7:30pm so mark it on your calendar and book your tickets here. All that’s left is to find your ultimate 80’s outfit and don’t forget to wake me up before you go-go (ahh come on, it’s bee a tough day).
