Situated on the square in the lovely village of Earls Barton and named after the Saxon Tower which is attached to the church, The Saxon Tavern offers a warm and cosy retreat to all its visitors and frequenting locals.

Owner and Earls Barton resident Polly Hardman, has lovingly converted the building into a one room pub offering a really cosy atmosphere. “I wanted the pub to have a community feel where it’s comfortable for my customers to enjoy themselves and where they feel at home. I also wanted to give my customers choice, so don’t be fooled by the size of the pub as we have a tipple to tempt everyone. From guest ales to Rhubarb Vodka, Single Malt Whiskey to Orange Blossom Gin, there’s something for everyone!’

Offering Real Ale straight from the barrel, traditional ciders, wines, a selection of Gins and spirits and a “Strawberries and Cream” cocktail to die for, you’ll definitely be spoilt for choice!

Regularly running live music events, coffee mornings and ‘Fab Foodie Nights’ there is always something different to tempt you back to the warm welcome at the Saxon Tavern.

To keep informed about all of Saxon Tavern’s upcoming events and news on the latest offerings, don’t forget to like them on Facebook. They hope to see Muddy readers very soon…
