We are obsessed with this 18th century inspired limed oak Loire bed from The Old Mill Interiors, part of a range of gorgeous luxe-brocante style bedroom furniture. With natural wood grain and Queen Ann style legs, you’d be forgiven for fancying yourself as rather glam Moll Flanders.

Chuck them over a chair, put them by the bed, take cute photos of the baby on them. They make the room feel extra chic and cosy.

Dowdy is out. Just because you’re confined to quarters, you don’t have to default to grubby slippers and pjs 24/7. Boost morale by treating yourself to some extra special loungewear to make the lockdown just a bit more bearable. One Hundred Stars have collaborated with KEW Royal Botanic Gardens on a stunning range of dressing gowns based on archived prints, so you can float around the house feeling fabulous. Available from The Rounded House in Oundle.
Celebrate the small things
We’re not all people people. There may even be one or two of us who are rather relishing the prospect of weeks of being alone with a cat and a pile of books. Not so easy if you’re stuck in the house with hyperactive kids, partner on permanent conference call mode and grandparents who keep trying to escape to Tesco, admittedly. That’s why we are defo ordering this Ugh People cushion from Graphic Gear Store. Because, frankly, we know the feeling, pussycat.
