It’s playtime at Rushden Lakes!

The mini Mudlets are about to get super duper excited over Rushden Lakes’ new addition to its West Terrace…a popular children’s entertainment centre – 360 Play. Opening today, Weds 13 feb, families can enjoy playtime at the shopping park’s first leisure facility, which features plenty of activities for children up to the age of 12.

There’s pretty much something for every Mudlet to enjoy including; a toddler section, carousel, dodgems, innovative role-play street, messy play as well as an outdoor space opening later in the year. To top it off, 360 Play is introducing a dedicated sports area for the first time. The football pitches and ping pong tables are exclusive to Rushden Lakes, and are perfect for letting off steam and developing co-ordination in young players whatever the weather.

360 Play is the first of a few leisure facilities to open with climbing centre, Rock Up, miniature golf course, Paradise Island, and the much-anticipated Cineworld cinema all set to open this year. Keep your eyes peeled!

Paul Rich, Centre Manager at Rushden Lakes, said 360 Play will be an excellent addition to its line-up of retailers and restaurants. “360 Play is not only going to have a number of exciting facilities for children to enjoy indoors and outdoors, but it will also be joining newly-opened restaurants, Nando’s and Five Guys on the West Terrace.” There’s a TGI Fridays, Chiquito, Frankie & Benny’s and Zizzi as well as Heavenly Dessert all to look forward to this year; Rushden Lakes really is the place to go!

360 Play is open Sunday – Thursday 9:30am to 5:30pm and until 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Also there’s Rushden Rangers which the kids LOVE! Read all about it here

Took 3 of our grandchildren to 360 at Rushden today. We thought it was really good for children and they had a great time
Although it states “only food on the premises may be consumed there” I have to say there were several families eating their own food. I must say I cannot blame them. During our stay I had two cups of latte coffee which were both luke-warm. We then had lunch which was two fish and chips, a macaroni cheese and a chicken pasta. The chips were stone cold the peas seemed as though they had been dunked in cold water and then served straight away.
The chicken was dry and tasteless and once again the macaroni cheese was luke-warm.
As I said a great place for kids but the food needs to be improved by 100%
It is a good job that 360 does not appear on Trip Advisor or I would be making comments on there regarding the food.

      Hi John

Thanks for your feedback, and great that you liked 360 for the kids. That’s a shame about the food, maybe let them know and give them some feedback so they can look to improve.
Keep on reading Muddy : )
