Opening at the tail end of 2023, No. 13 Bar is the sister business to neighbouring Ember Restaurant. There is nothing unlucky about this number 13, which has already placed itself proudly within Wellingborough’s indie enclave at Nene Court. After the successful opening of the restaurant, owner James Peck decided his next venture to be focused more on the drinks side.

No. 13 Bar is the ideal destination for a cheeky preprandial or post-dinner drinks following a meal at Ember, with a wide selection of cocktails and wines on offer. Their menu is full amazing drinks, packed with their own unique twists on popular cocktails.

The bar itself boasts a relaxed ambience with dark, early 20th century style décor. They have purposefully chosen an intimate setting, with a cosy log fire and velvet seating for up to 32 guests and there’s an al fresco seating area too – perfect for sundowners. They also host events, such as comedy nights and music, and are available to hire for events, making them the perfect laid back party venue.
