The Old Talbot is brilliantly located on Watling Street, midway between MK and Towcester, offering fantastic homemade food and smart, chic rooms all within this stylishly refurbed stone-built coaching inn.

It’s a trad village pub but that little bit extra, with brunch on offer all week (Eggs Benedict me for please!) and a lovely choice of food throughout out the day too, from sarnies and omelettes to burgers, salads and steaks. The Sunday lunch menu is pretty scrumptious too, with a carvery and a la carte choices, plus a dedicated veggie and vegan menu.  It’s the prefect place for a quick pitstop, dinner with friends or a family gathering.

You can expect weekly pie nights, bingo, Greek night, afternoon teas, mum and baby brunches and quizzes too, helping to maintain that vibrant community feel. There’s a buzzy bar with a great cocktail menu and a lovely pub garden too for sunnier days. Got a special event or celebration coming up? No problemo, the brilliant team here will cater for festive do’s, weddings, wakes, baby showers, work meetings and everything in between.

Another big draw is the beautifully simple but stylish rooms, located in a modern but sympathetically designed wing separate from the main pub, which makes the Old Talbot the ideal place to stay if you’re here to celebrate a special occasion, or if you’re heading for an event at nearby Silverstone. Oh, and did we mention it’s dog friendly too, with a choice of menu options for your furry friends.
