This traditional toy shop in the heart of Kettering is dedicated to supporting childrens' development and education with the added bonus that the toys themselves are all utterly lovely.
If I’d had this gorgeous traditional children’s toy store near me when the Mudlets were small, my house would certainly have been considerably more chic, but the ethos behind Toybox isn’t just aesthetic. Business owner Serrina, a former nursery nurse, believes in nurturing childrens’ development through play, using robust and long-lasting toys.
It just so happens that those are the ones that also look lovely in your living room, so often make the best (ie. most appreciated by parents) birthday and Christmas gifts. Think wooden and traditional toys with a hand-crafted vibe, from baby toys, puzzles and games and development toys, to sit and rides, books, role play toys, musical instruments, train sets and load more. If you’re looking for an extra special gift or for something to keep your own littles amused, you will be spoilt for choice at Toybox.
There’s a free doorstop delivery to Kettering and local area for those that can’t make it to the the bricks and mortar shop, or your can have your purchases delivered further afield for postage and packing costs. We are so in love with this personalised and feel good service.
