Never let it be said that we are not experts in all things cake. We’ve certainly eaten quite a few. And we can confirm that the incredibly beautiful creations from Whisk’d, who as of June have opened the doors of their brand new cafe and bakery at Weedon Depot, are utterly spectacular.

Pretty, colourful and scrumdiddlyumptious (don’t you just hate it when cakes look good but don’t taste of much? Not these babies!), owner Sophie’s beautiful cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, brownies and occasion cakes are truly lipsmacking. They’re available to order or you can head to the cool new warehouse-style cafe, with it’s high ceilings and massive windows. Afternoon teas can be booked in advance and, as well as Sophie’s homemade treats, you can grab sausage rolls, pasties and quiche from Saul’s of Spratton too.
