Muddy meets Posh Spice
The real Posh might not be touring with the Spice Girls, but Wannabe brings the (girl) power of the fab five to Oxford in June. We shoot some quick fire questions at Posh, aka Lavinia Kastamoniti.
A Spice Girls tour! *squeal* Excited?
I’m very excited to be touring the UK with such a talented and lovely group of people and to perform in some of the theatres I’ve always wanted to perform in! Looking forward to getting on stage and starting very soon!
Where are you most excited about performing?
I’m especially looking forward to performing at New Wimbledon Theatre, as I have a lot of family and friends coming to that show and I can’t wait to have them in the audience!
Got a favourite song?
I would have to say it’s ‘Love thing’ – I love the choreography and it’s a fun number with the girls!
Favourite Spice Girl?
I know I’m playing Posh and I love her, but I also really like Sporty Spice. Her voice is amazing and I love her energy on stage!
Are you a big fan of the ‘real’ Spice Girls?
I actually grew up in Greece until I was 10, and they weren’t really as big there as they were in the UK. I knew some of the big hits, but I didn’t grow up being a big fan. But, now I’m part of this show I’m really enjoying discovering their music again and how great their songs are to dance to! I love playing Posh Spice!
Will you see the Spice Girls on their arena tour?
No – I’ll be too busy having fun on our own tour!
If you could tour Wannabe: The Spice Girls to any city in the world, where would it be? Sydney, Australia! For some sunshine!
