Wouldn’t you though?

Gorgeous vintage style prints and bags at an affordable price. Honestly, you'll love these little pieces from Northants based brand Bonfirecherry. Plus, there's 15% off!

I’d had my eye on Northants based Bonfirecherry for a little while, after owner and designer Matthew Leyman sent a welcome tweet to lil’ ole Muddy Northants (who doesn’t love a happy hello in a new role). But it wasn’t just Bonfirecherry’s politeness that made me stop and smile, it was the distinctive handcrafted prints, bags, books and brooches that also caught my eye. I don’t know about you, but one can never have too many of these delicious little art pieces scattered around the home (and boy is my abode testament to that fact; Marie Kondo, declutterer extraordinaire would have kittens if she saw the Muddy household)! Bonfirecherry went on to win the Muddy Award for Best Local Producer (None Food), and it was a  real pleasure to meet Matt and talk about his products.

The procedure used to create the look is called linocut printing, and I love that kind of vintage vibe, but I also like the fact that Bonfirecherry prints are inspired by themes like books and photography (a couple of my favourite things). And, they can also produce custom work too (not sure Mr Muddy’s beloved Everton would come across well on a tote bag, but you never know)!

A custom made bread print…

The range includes prints, bags, badges & tea towels, all with a sense of fun that suggests this designer doesn’t take himself too seriously; especially when it comes to pricing! With badges around a fiver and prints from the £15 mark, you could gift all of your family over a 12 month period and still have change to treat yourself!

Need any more incentive? Well Muddy readers are able to get 15 per cent off with the code CHERRY15 when used at the checkout. Happy shopping!

I met Matt at his very first fair and bought his Camera print – such a lovely chap, really glad to see him featured here!

Always keen to push the wares of local talent, Lisa. I hear you have plenty of beautifully crafted offerings to impress the many Mudsters.

I haven’t met Matt but we’ve had numerous conversations on Twitter – I actually saw your email in my inbox, checked the list and then had to go and tweet my excitement at him winning his category! So excited for him. We’ve been trying the Marie Kondo thing and although we are better than we were it seems to be getting worse again – clearly Marie never tried doing it around a toddler who decides that everything is his play thing even the stuff that isn’t.
