The Muddy Winners Drinkies!

Lights, camera, COCKTAILS! All the mayhem from the Muddy Winner's Drinks 2018

The Hopmaster General horse box. This man (Gav Wooding) does a mean rhubarb gin

Hosting Winners Drinks every year is a bit daunting but when the Muddy Awards victors arrive ready to party and the chatter hums and the corks start to pop, I absolutely love it.

Kim & Kate from The Castle, Wellingborough

The Awards are the hardest but most rewarding time of the year for me and the team – the time when new exciting businesses emerge into the spotlight, everyone pats the back of hard-working local indies, and we remember why we do Muddy Stilettos in the first place. I love meeting interesting people, finding out what they do, and telling others about them, so this post is pretty much the easiest thing to write because here they are!

Wild Indigo Flowers and Muddy’s Victoria (she loves a good natter)

We had a brilliant turn-out at this year’s drinkies, and just as well as we pretty much threw everything we had at the party this year – It was at the glorious Brampton Grange Wedding Venue & Conference Centre and for proper celebratory shenanigans in attendance providing all the extra delights were The Devine Betty’sSaxby’s CiderThe Prosecco Van Gin & Fizz.comTheHopmaster General – stop4.beer Micropub and Bottleshop and the super talented Hannah Hall Photography.

Saxbys were thrilled with their invite ; )

The Prosecco Van Gin Fizz would make ANY party

She took the images you’re seeing now – apart from the two above which are my handy work (she’s so chilled out and funny but really nails the perfect shot – seriously, book this woman);

PLUS what had been suspect weather decided to recede and the sun shone for our entire party and frankly the whole thing was a blast from beginning to end.

Gorjus canapes from the Devine Bettys

But there would be no party with no Awards, and no Awards with no readers to vote for their most loved indie businesses, so it’s a big heartfelt THANK YOU from me to you for taking the time to give your local favourites a pat on the back and showing your support for the Muddies. See you in 2019 for the fourth year (can you believe it?!!) of the Awards, but until then, give a virtual round of applause to (more photos below too)…
