WALK THIS WAY!
Here at Muddy Towers, we love any excuse to don fancy dress, but when it involves outdoor disco-ing, cocktails AND raising funds for a brilliant local charity in one of our favourite Northants beauty spots, well, we defo can’t resist. Cransley Hospice Starlight Walk takes place in the magnificent grounds of Boughton House on 25 September and you can sign up right here to get involved and raise vital funds to help support those in need of end of life care. There’s a cocktail station, DJ, lightshow and UV zone and you’re encouraged to get dressed up to the nines – the wackier, the better!
Summer’s looking fine just in time for Luna Flix to launch their summer program of open air films at Boughton House and Tower Field in Finedon. OH BROTHERS, WHERE ART THOU?
Well, Abington Street in Northampton to be precise. Brothers Pub Co. are set to open their first concept pub in the centre of Northampton in November. The idea behind the pub is to create a social space with games and events. Located in the listed building that was formerly Sharp’s furniture, the space looks set to be an absolute banger, with an edgy vintage vibe and a real asset to Northampton’s town centre regeneration. Fancy helping brothers Ellis, Jack and Josh to kickstart their pub? They’re crowdfunding by selling cocktail garnish boxes and other merch over on their website.
