Brilliant new independent films this season include the thought provoking drama The Wife, Anton Chekhov adaptation The Seagull and introspective drama Lucky. The cinema continues to present the best big new releases, including heist drama King of Thieves, as well as Damien Chazelle’s Neil Armstrong biopic First Man. The classics offering includes a selection of films celebrating Black History Month in the UK this October. The programme of event cinema features screenings of top class drama, ballet and opera. They’ve also announced a new series of screenings aimed at welcoming even more 16-25 year-olds into the cinema, thanks to support from the BFI Film Audience Network – one for the not so little Mudlets!

Featuring 4 live action scare mazes all loaded with huge horror scenes, terrifying special FX and amazing actors! It’s the ultimate Halloween night out! Watch the experts as they battle it out to see who is the best at playing conkers in the world! It’s a big event with a kids’ conker competition, stalls, guide dog displays, bumper cars, climbing wall, food offerings, a tea and cake tent, Morris dancers, juggling workshops, a ukuleke band and praise be, a bar.
