Enjoy an Easter treat with a great selection of films at the Errol Flynn Filmhouse. A huge range of films are available including new independent films, such as ‘Wonderstruck’, top foreign film ‘The Square’ and family favourite ‘Peter Rabbit’. Wicky Bear has been very mischievous and he has hidden some huge Easter shapes in the Park and he wants all the boys and girls to help him find them! Entry is £3 per child and every entry receives an Easter gift.

Antiques and Vintage Fair, Lamport Hall, Lamport, 10am – 4pm, Sun 1/Mon 2 Apr

Whether you are looking for something in particular, or just like to browse through interesting antiques, furniture, books, pictures, militaria, jewellery, etc, this Antiques and Vintage Fair has something to offer. With items ranging from 50p to £5,000 there’s something for everyone from the serious collector to the impulse buyer. Why not relax with a drink and a bite to eat whilst considering your next purchase? Refreshments available from Sauls of Spratton. Free car parking and free programme. The weekend also gives an opportunity to see the spring bulbs out in the gardens and explore the house. The Hall and Gardens will be open both days between 2pm and 5pm, last admission at 4pm (under separate admission).

Join in with some fun Easter themed craft activities at the Learning Space aka big grey portacabin including making your own Easter puppets, Easter basket and make your very own pompom bunny…cute!
Cost is £3.00 per participants, all children must be accompanied by an adult, and booking can be made through Reception. Activities will be available from 10am to 11.30am and 1pm to 2:30pm.

Macbeth, Castle Theatre, 7:15pm, Wed 4 & 11 Apr

The Royal Opera House bring Verdi’s operatic adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth to life on their stage in Covent Garden, London. Featuring a magnificent cast including Anna Netrebko, Željko Lučić and Ildebrando D’arcangelo, Wellingborough audiences can enjoy this production when it is broadcast live to Castle Theatre.

The warrior Macbeth fights on the side of the King of Scotland – but when a coven of witches prophesy that he shall become king himself, a ruthless ambition drives Macbeth and his wife to horrific acts. Murder makes Macbeth king, and intrigue and butchery are the hallmarks of his brief, doomed reign. The witches make another prediction, which also comes true: Macbeth and his lady lose their lives, and justice is restored.

The Floyd Effect, Castle Theatre, 7:30pm, Sat 7 Apr

Pink Floyd’s recording career spanned almost three decades and, for its 10th Anniversary, The Floyd Effect has chosen two of the band’s most remarkable albums to create The Bell And The Moon tour 2018. Spotlighting the music of The Division Bell (1994) and a complete, unbroken performance of the iconic Dark Side Of The Moon (1973), concerts will also include tracks from Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall, delighting Pink Floyd fans everywhere. And, of course, the music is supported by a dramatic light show that incorporates the iconic circular screen, two sets of projections, smoke and lasers.

Fairy House Workshop, Artistic ReTreats, Upper Boddington, Sat 7 Apr

You will be taken through all the steps to create your beautiful & unique weather resistant fairy house under the expert tuition of Liz Dixon, approved Powertex Trainer. A full day workshop where you will make a fairy or witches house using recycled fabric, stone art clay & Powertex products.  Once dry, your fairy house will be suitable for outdoor display. Tickets cost £80 per person.
