The Russian State Ballet of Siberia presents two classic ballets, Romeo & Juliet and Swan Lake, at Northampton’s Royal & Derngate. Accompanied by The Orchestra of the Russian State Ballet, the company bring their outstanding performances and breath-taking physical ability to the Derngate stage for the first time in two enchanting and well-loved ballets, sprinkled with magical special effects.
Shakespeare’s classic tale of passion and tradgedy, Romeo & Juliet is brought to life by Prokofiev’s soaring score, with emotionally charged choreography that befits the world’s greatest love story. In Swan Lake, Tchaikovsky’s haunting music sets the tone for the greatest ballet of all time. From the splendour of the palace ballroom to the moon-lit lake, this tale of tragic romance has it all. Perfect for a Valentine’s Day treat!
Romeo & Juliet is a one-off performance on Monday 12 February at 7:30pm, Swan Lake will be performed on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 at 7:30pm with a matinee on the Wednesday at 2:30pm. Tickets cost £17 to £34 and can be booked by calling the box office on 01604 624811 or through the website.

Les Petits Theatre Company bring their latest production to stage for a family-friendly audience. It’s all aboard, me hearties, for a non-stop action packed pirate adventure! Audiences will be whisked away for another fantastic adventure to a world of devious dinosaurs, deep sea dangers and smelly sausages!
When Flinn, Pearl and Tom are in the middle of their school play their old nemesis, Mr T the T-Rex, appears and kidnaps the children, forcing them to hunt for the secretive Magic Cutlass; a sword that grants the holder any wish! Will fearless Flinn be able to outwit the pirate dinosaurs? Will Pirate Pearl be brave enough to battle the dangerous dinos and will terrified Tom be back in time for Tea?
