Burns Night, Abington Park Museum, Fri 26 January

Celebrates Burns Night in the atmospheric setting of Abington Park Museum. An evening of bagpipes, poetry and dancing, along with Scottish inspired canapes. Complimentary glass of fizz on arrival and refreshments are available from the bar. Tickets cost £30 per person and can be purchased online or by calling 01604 838110. So brush off your tartan!

Frank’s Comedy Club, Castle Theatre, Wellingborough, 8pm, Fri 26 January

An evening of top quality laughs featuring some of the best acts on the UK comedy circuit.

You can even enjoy Franks Meal Deal an pre-order food for an extra £7.50 (£8.50 on the night) to enjoy a delicious burger, from Franks Hamburger House, served with chips and salad in a takeaway box during the interval. There’s four different choices, including a vegetarian option, to choose from.

Dunkirk, Oundle Cinema Screening, Oundle, Sun 28 January

The 2018 season continues with Dunkirk – Christopher Nolan’s epic retelling of the evacuation of British troops from the beaches of war torn France, starring Mark Rylance, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh and Harry Styles.  Tickets cost £6 for adults and £3 for under 18s making this affordable for all. The doors and bar open half an hour before each screening and tickets can be purchased online or even at the door, the screening will start at 7:30pm.

Gluten free & Vegan Feast, Warkton Village Hall, Kettering, 11:30am – 4:30pm, Sun 28 January

Enjoy a tree course gluten free and vegan feast hosted at the newly refurbished Warkton Village Hall by The Incredible Bakery Company.

There’s two seatings on the day and a several meals options to choose from so it’s flexible to fit around your schedule. You can pre-order your meal choices once you have purchased a ticket as you will receive an email confirmation with all the details on it. During your meal you will be served water, kombucha cordial, tea and coffee. Other types of drink will be available to purchase on the day an you can even take your own drink.

Tickets are on sale now and cost £20, you can buy them from their website.
