COMEDY: Janey Godley’s Soup Pot, Core at Corby, 13 Feb
Hope you’re hungry. “Queen of Scottish Comedy” is coming to Corby. Janey Godley has been on BBC’s Have I Got News For You and BBC Scotland’s Breaking the News and continues to attend Fringe Festival. Taking to the stage for a night of live voice overs and stand up like you’ve never seen before.
FASHION: Celebrity Styling Workshop, Magazine Heaven, 13 Feb
Magazine Heaven at Rushden Lakes is hosting a Celebrity Styling Workshop on 13 Feb with fash brand MS CAMPBELL and celeb stylist Cherlene Bent, who has worked with the like of Sam Faiers, Olivia Buckland and Megan McKenna. If you can’t make it this week there are more throughout the year, so no excuses for not looking perfectly put together (err).

Fancy being serenaded over your spicy sausage? Heralded for their mouth-watering Tapas, Bar Encore will be dimming the lights in their Pickwick Room on Valentine’s night for an evening of romance with live Spanish guitar music.
KIDS: School of Magic, Delapre Abbey, 14 – 23 Feb
Delapre Abbey has a week of witchcraft lined up at their School of Magic, with loads of activities for your little wizards including wand making and potions class plus on Tuesday 18th and Thursday 20th, the Coach House will host snakes, lizards and other creepy crawlies for visitors to interact with. Jamaican gem, June Plum, in Welly, will be hosting a Valentine’s Day Wine and Dine, with more party nights on Saturday and Sunday. Couples, singles and groups are all welcomed for great food, cocktails and fun, with DJ Smokey spinning the tunes.

Evenley Wood Garden plays host to Muddy Feet Outdoor Learning and Forest Schools with a family event on Saturday 15th Feb (morning or afternoon sessions) based around the much loved Stickman story by perennial fave, Julia Donaldson. Kids will delight in listening to the Stickman story, making their very own stickman, cooking basic food on the fire and learning fire making skills (oh dear -poor Stickman!).
