Delapre Abbey has a week of witchcraft lined up at their School of Magic, with loads of activities for your little wizards including wand making and potions class plus on Tuesday 18th and Thursday 20th, the Coach House will host snakes, lizards and other creepy crawlies for visitors to interact with. Wingardium Leviosa!

DANCE: 90’s & 00’s Dance Hall Jams, The Stanwick Hotel, 15 Feb

Lots of great classic tracks being played till late into the night over at The Stanwick Hotel by DJ Jem B, playing trance, rave, club classics, UK garage and more.

CLUB: Footloose club night, Picturedrome, Northampton, 15 Feb

Eighties club night Footloose returns to the Picturedrome in Northampton on 15th Feb, don your legwarmers and get down to all the bangin’ tunes from your (cough) childhood.

MUSIC: DJ Nights with DJ Smokey, June Plum, 15/16 Feb

One of our fave places to eat is hosting a great night of their incredible tasting food with DJ Smokey who will be keeping you grooving all night. Enjoy a cocktail or two and say hello to the weekend, true Jamaican style.

KIDS: Muddy Feet Outdoor Learning and Forest Schools, Evenley Wood Garden, 15 Feb

Evenley Wood Garden plays host to Muddy Feet Outdoor Learning and Forest Schools with a family event on Saturday 15th Feb (morning or afternoon sessions) based around the much loved Stickman story by perennial fave, Julia Donaldson. Kids will delight in listening to the Stickman story, making their very own stickman, cooking basic food on the fire and learning fire making skills (oh dear -poor Stickman!).

KIDS: Bugs and Beasties Trail, Canons Ashby, 15 Feb

Canons Ashby National Trust will have a Bugs and Beasties Trail through half term, kicking off on Saturday 15th Feb, helping your small people explore their natural environment, get out in the fresh air and enjoy getting dirty – though tbh do they need much assistance on that score?
