MUSIC: ‘The Fermi Paradox’ by Paul K, released 9th November
Hailing from Weldon on the Northamptonshire-Rutland border, Paul K experiments with samples and prog-rock synths for the upcoming release of ‘The Fermi Paradox’, which follows his debut album ‘Omerta’. Using samples from cosmologists, tune in for a quirky and relaxing listen, that will have you racing like the space race for more.
THEATRE: Circus Of Horrors 9th November, Steve Bugeja 9th November and Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers on 10th November, all at The Core, Corby Cube.
The Corby Cube theatre is certainly at the core of spectacular show offerings. If you still haven’t had a strong enough dose of fright from Halloween, the Circus of Horrors (7:30 pm, 9th Nov) promises to be a show filled with bizarre, brilliant and brave acts. Tickets for the Psycho Asylum can be bought online, with the same applying for the other shows. If this doesn’t take your fancy, then go for giggles and buy tickets for Steve Bugeja’s biggest comedy tour to date. Having contributed to Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News and even 8 out of 10 cats, his show is set to be the funniest and most confessional one yet. Finally, Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers return to The Core at Corby Cube on Saturday 10th November with their thrilling show, The Story of The Bay City Rollers, that has been taking UK theatres by storm. The band will perform songs that influenced the original group as they were forging their way in the music business, as well as all the Rollers’ hits, including Bye Bye Baby, Summer Love Sensation and Shang A Lang to name just a few. The entertainment on offer at the Core at Corby Cube is not to be overlook this November!
MUSIC: Fanfare, Northampton Symphony Orchestra, Sat 10th Nov 7:30 pm, Saint Matthew’s Church, The Drive, Kingsley, Northampton, Northamptonshire NN14
