Winterland MK 2019, Friday 22nd November – Sunday 5th January, Towcester Racecourse.

Packed full of winter treats, including ice skating, market, bars, grotto and a whole lot more, a festive wonderland for all to enjoy with free shuttle bus from Northampton and Milton Keynes.

Magical Wicksteed Park, Saturday 30th November – Tuesday 24th December, Wicksteed Park.

Enjoy a truly magical and festive day out with a festive train journey, biscuit decorating, a chance to meet Mr and Mrs Claus and other great Christmas treats for you and the kids to enjoy.

Downtown at Delapre Christmas Experience, Monday 2nd December, Delapre Abbey.

Held on a few dates over December, this is a great experience for Downtown fans, where you will discover life at Delapre and learn the stories of who use to once live on the estate and get a behind-the-scenes look into the stunning abbey.

A very Dickens Christmas, Tuesday 3rd December, Wicksteed Park.

Held on a few dates through December. Work in a school? Want to let your kids escape the class for an educational but festive day out? Wicksteed Park are hosting a vibrant Dickens themed session of curriculum activities for Key Stage One and Two.

Christmas Fayre, Friday 6th December, Market Harborough. 

Enjoy a mince pie and mulled wine as you explore the markets packed full of winter goodies to gear you up for Christmas.

Christmas Market, Saturday 7th December, The Red Lion Branford.

A variety of local stall holders will be inviting you over to shop their great selection of items, either a treat for a loved one or a treat for you. Santa will also be making an appearance so get your kids lists ready. There’s also live music in the evening, so a great day all round.

Christmas Fayre, Saturday 7th December, Vintage Retreat.

Not only will there be some great bits to have a mooch around, there will be some festive treats and drinks to enjoy. A festive treat for you or someone you love, there’s sure to be a vintage gift right here.

Wreath Making, Tuesday 10th – Wednesday 11th December, The Stanwick Hotel.

Be sure to book your place in for this wreath workshop with BFA Award Winning Florist, Pinks Florist, where the talented Kirsty will help you create your very own beautiful wreath. There will be mulled wine, hot choco and homemade shortbread to also enjoy.

Christmas Fair, Saturday 14th – Sunday 15th December, Delapre Abbey.

Get a last minute Xmas gift from one of the many stalls stocked full with festive gifts and treats, plus enjoy some festive activities across the entire Abbey.

Make Your Christmas Table Centrepiece with Crazy Daisies, Sunday 22nd December, Ruby & Claret. 

Make your own showstopping Christmas table centrepiece with florists Crazy Daisies. Tickets are £30 each inclusive of all materials however it’s cash only at this event.

Boxing Day Gala Ball, Thursday 26th December, Whittlebury Hall.

Wrap up Christmas at Whittlebury Hall with their stunning black-tie event, with pre-dinner drinks, and canapes. After, indulge in a 4 course feast with entertainment and live music after to dance the night away to.

Taste the new arrival of MD of Beer & Cider at Chapel Down, Gareth Bath. There will be lots of treats to enjoy including Chapel Down gins, sparkling wines and the Majestic exclusive Curious Cuvee IPA, a firm fave.

Christmas Gin & Baking Masterclass with Warner’s Gin, Saturday 7th December, G&T’s.

What better way to kick of the festivities with this mince pie making and gin tasting masterclass brought to you by local guys, Warner Gin. Including their Christmas Cake Gin, sample some other great gins and learn how gin is made.

Cheese and Wine Tuesday, Tuesday 10th December, St Giles Ale House.

Enjoy a great selection of 6 samples of wines with 6 cheeses to match to infuse the flavours. These events are popular so grab your tickets fast before they’re all gone.

Pizza & Prosecco Party, Wednesday 11th December, Kitchen Concepts.

Buon Natale! Christmas Party Nights, Thursday 12th & Saturday 14th December, Ruby & Claret. 

One of our fave wine destinations is celebrating the most fab time of the year with their wine tasting and festive sharing boards to enjoy. A lovely time to get together with loved ones in a relaxed and lovely venue. Booking is required so get on it to enjoy 6 glasses of wine and canapes on arrival plus those delicious sharing boards.

Shared Party Night, Saturday 14th December, Woburn Hotel.

A perfect event for a Christmas party. Join the team at Woburn Hotel for a shared party night with a drink on arrival and a festive 3 course meal. If you’re not to full after, dance the night away with their DJ.

Want a special bottle of wine for Christmas day? Ruby & Claret are hosting their third tasting session where you will enjoy three wines with festive treats that you can get lots of inspiration from to try out at home for the big day.

Supper Club, Wednesday 18th December, Pinch My Bun.

Join the great team at Pinch My Bun for their new monthly supper club which serves up dishes created with the best knowledge and using all locally sourced produce to give you a meal to never forget. It’s £40 to book and will treat you to some beautiful dishes.

Bite Street Christmas Party, Friday 20th December, Duston Mill.

The biggest street food event in Northampton is back with a festive trick. Enjoy a prosecco on arrival, a wood-fired stove to keep warm by, plus some great street food trucks to tantalise your taste buds. All that plus a DJ to dance to, a cool chilled vibe and a bar with tipples galore.

Craft Beer Bar Acoustic Session, Friday 20th December, Princess Alexandra.

Spend a warm night with some delicious craft beers plus live music for an intimate and relaxing evening.

The Further Adventures of The Owl and the Pussycat, Thursday 28th November – Sunday 5th January, Royal & Derngate.

You and the kids will just love this show of adventure where the Owl and the Pussy-cat are enjoying married life until a crow steals their wedding ring. Join them on their incredible adventure together in the hope of getting it back.

Cinderella, Friday 6th – Sunday 29th December, Royal & Derngate.

The panto season is here and Northampton’s Royal and Derngate are showing the wonderful Cinderella with stars including Anita Dobson and a whole lot more to get you into the festive cheer.

The Snowman, Saturday 7th December, The Castle Theatre.

Watch The Snowman like never before, this time accompanied with a live orchestra. An immersive experience full of magic and joy, one for everyone of the family.

Pippi Longstocking, Tuesday 10th -Tuesday 31st December, Royal & Derngate. 

Watch Pippi, a brave, strong and fearless girl who takes charge of her adventures in this colourful show with her two friends, Tommy and Annika, as they go on an adventure full of mischief and chaos, what could possibly go wrong?

Aladdin, Saturday 14th – Tuesday 31st December, Castle Theatre.

Castle Theatre have their panto all ready to go with the fab Atomic Kitten’s Natasha Hamilton who will take to the stage for this festive treat, full of songs, laughs and a whole lot of festive spirit.

The Polar Express, Sunday 15th December, The Castle Theatre.

Fancy watching this festive film in a comfy chair, in your PJS with hot chocolate in hand? Yes you could do this at home, but enjoy the film with all the family on the big screen, and yes you can wear your Christmas PJ’s, or at least your festive jumper.

Walking Tour of Victorian Northampton, Sunday 15th December, Northampton.

Experience Northampton like never before on this guided tour where you will learn all about the history of the town. Be taken to long-lost buildings and surprising survivors, plus a whole lot more about the towns magnificent history.

Love Actually, Tuesday 24th December, Picturedrome.

Would it be Christmas without watching Love Actually? No, we don’t think so, neither do the Picturedrome who are showing an afternoon screening of the best Christmas love film on Christmas Eve, relax before the big day.


The Great Girls Night In, Wednesday 4th December, Cheyne Walk Club.

Spend a night in being pampered, with crafts and Christmas shopping plus bring your clothes to swap for a festive clothes swap. This is a charity fundraiser for The Lewis Foundation and The Henry Allen Trust.

Christmas Home Styling Event, Thursday 5th December, House of Fraser.

Want your home to look fab this festive season? E.C Interiors is a new interior designer in Northamptonshire area and bringing her knowledge and passion to this event where you will get the best styling tips, trends for 2020 and nibbles and a glass of fizz to mooch around the collections with.

The Artisan Baby Co Fair, Sunday 8th December, Delapre Abbey.

Returning are a lovely collection of independent, boutique baby collections and stalls perfect for kitting our your toddler or baby. VIP tickets are available where you can get a 30 min early entry so you can pick up the best pieces for they go.

Quirky Races Christmas Mince Pie Run, Sunday 8th December, Billing Aquadrome.

Quirky Races are back with a festive fun with mince pies to keep you on your toes. Get your trainers on, wrap up and take on this winter run in the open cold air.
