COMEDY: Screaming Blue Murder Comedy Club, Royal & Derngate, 1 Feb

Hope you’re hungry. “Queen of Scottish Comedy” is coming to Corby. Janey Godley has been on BBC’s Have I Got News For You and BBC Scotland’s Breaking the News and continues to attend Fringe Festival. Taking to the stage for a night of live voice overs and stand up like you’ve never seen before.

KIDS: School of Magic, Delapre Abbey, 14 – 23 Feb

Delapre Abbey is going to be transformed into a School of Magic with lots of magical spells and mischief happening, perfect for your little witches and wizards to get involved in. Lots to do including Herbology, positions, broomsticks lessons and more, plus on Tuesday 18th and Thursday 20th, the Coach House will host snakes, lizards and other creepy crawlies for visitors to interact with.



EVENT: 90’s & 00’s Dance Hall Jams, The Stanwick Hotel, 15 Feb 

Lots of great classic tracks being played till late into the night over at The Stanwick Hotel by Dj Jem B, playing trance, rave, club classics, UK garage and more.


EVENT: DJ Night with DJ Smokey, June Plum, 15 Feb 

One of our fave places to eat is hosting a great night of their incredible tasting food with DJ Smokey who will be keeping you grooving all night. Enjoy a cocktail or two and say hello to the weekend, true Jamaican style.


MUSIC: Midge Ure: The 1980 Tour, Viennna & Visage, Royal & Derngate, 17 Feb 

Midge Ure and Band Electronica are taking to the stage to play for the first time in 40 years since it’s creation, the album Vienna. With lots of tracks from the album being played live, this is a throwback night full of electronic music to get your feet tapping.


WORKSHOP: Character Drawing Workshop, Magazine Heaven, 17 Feb 

Womankind Art Competitions Finalist, Lindsay Tempest will show you how to draw your fave characters at this workshop, with all the materials provided. Tickets are only £5.


WORKSHOP: Create Your Own Zine Workshop, Abington Park Museum, 20 Feb 

A great chance for your kids to get creative as you make your very own Zini, a mini mag that is created by one person or a small group. There is other dates for this workshop and it’s perfect for children over 7.


THEATRE: It’ll Be Alright On The Night, Core at Corby, 22 Feb 

Telling a tale of friendship, this show takes you on a journey of youth right through to adolescent rebellion, through a shared love of punk rock music and radical polarised politics. Featuring a jazz punk score, this is a “powerful and passionately produced performance“.


EVENT: Northern Soul Night, Stanwick Hotel, 22 Feb 

The lovely Stanwick Hotel is having another fun-filled night of great music, this time all northern soul classics.


WORKSHOP: Beginner Floral Watercolour Class, Courteenhall, 22 Feb

Taking place in the lovely grounds of Courteenhall Estate, this is a class that will be taken by Gemma who owns Urzanmyne. You will get an intro into colour and watercolour paints then allowing you to explore your own artistic strengths, a great class for beginners.


OUTDOORS: Tour of Abington Park Museum, Abington Park Museum, 23 Feb 

Explore the historic museum at Abington Park as you get taken around by volunteer guiders who will tell you tales of the past and discover who lived there all those years ago.


MUSIC: The Boys Are Back!, Royal & Derngate, 23 Feb 

Major Throwback! Five, A1, Damage and 911 are taking to the stage for a night of their classic hits, taking you way back. There are meet and greet packages available to.


FOOD: Love Northampton Food Fair, Guild Hall, 29 Feb 

It’s back! One of Northants fave food fairs, that sells lots of delicious food and drink from local businesses and producers is returning, with demonstrations and samples to try.


POP-UP: The White Hart, Hackleton, 29 Feb 

Cuisine Culture are taking over The White Hart and serving up a delicious, mouth watering 4 course dinner using seasonal and local produce. A great chance to taste the amazing flavours of Cuisine Culture, we’ve heard great things.
