Streetbox Convention, Friday November 8th, Delapre Abbey.

After the success of August’s Horsebox Convention, The Gin Nook presents a FREE event that serves up worldwide street food and divine spirited refreshments. There will be beers, wines, rums, ciders, Prosecco and everyone’s fave, Gin plus some hot toddies to warm you up. There will be music, street food plus a great mood around fire pits.

Lovely Bubbly! Sparkling Wines of the World, Saturday 9th November, Ruby & Claret.

Join the team at the lovely Ruby & Claret for an evening of lots and lots of bubbles. Enjoy some fine flutes of sparkling wines from all across the globe, with some delicious Asian canapes. Tickets are £32 and available from Ruby’s.

Oundle Farmers Market, Saturday 9th November, Oundle.

Held on every second Saturday of the month, the Oundle Farmer’s Market is held from 8am – 2pm. Expect to see a great ray of local produce with over 40 stalls, ranging from food and drink to dairy products and breads. Many of the stall holders have bred, grown, caught, picked or baked the goods on sale, so it’s all local, hearty, goodness.

Northampton Winter Food Festival, Saturday 9th – Sunday 10th Novemeber, Northamptonshire County Cricket Club.

Lover of artisan food and drink? This is a perfect event for you to explore new flavours with yummy treats to eat, winter gifts to indulge in and gift ideas to kick start Christmas early. There’s over 80 food and drink producers plus gifts, chef demonstrations, free tasting workshops and an open-air street food market.

Wine & Cheese Tasting Evening, Friday 15th November, The Watermill Tearooms.

An evening of trying out delicious cheeses and perfect wines to compliment. Enjoy a glass of prosecco on arrival and sample five wines from Amps Wine Merchants plus some great tasting cheeses and chutneys and other nibbles.

Beaujolais Nouveua Supper Club, Thursday 21st November, Ruby & Claret.

Graduate Art Fair, Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th November, Yardley Arts.  

Showcasing work from twenty graduating artists from all over the country, explore the art and learn about their stories and purchase the ones you fall in love with, with prices starting at £80 to large-scale originals up to £1.800.

The Drifters, Wednesday 27th November, Kettering Lighthouse.

The Drifters are returning to the stage for their brand new UK tour celebrating their 65th anniversary, performing all their classic hits from the past six decades, including Saturday Nights at the Movies, Come on Over to my Place, Stand By Me and Under the Broadwalk plus many more.

Swan Lake, Friday 29th November, Castle Theatre.

Gentle, nurturing yoga, Monday 4th November, Stanwick Lakes.

The lakes are hosting several yoga classes across November and December and invite you to try a mix of seated chair yoga, techniques to combat stress and anxiety and how to relax more deeply.

Santa Fun Run, Sunday 1st December, The Racecourse

Race either the 2.5k or 5k, dressed as Santa this December raising money for Cynthia Spencer. The races kick off at 11:00am and everyone taking part will receive a free Santa outfit. Adults £15, children 5-14 £8 and families (2 adults, 2 children) £40.

Christmas Market, Sunday 1st December, Northampton Market Square. 

Over 70 stalls with a mix of food, crafts and more will take to the market this festive season to get you Christmas ready for the annual Frost Fair. There will be so much stuff to browse and choose from with a range of local producers, makers and crafters, selling a mix of great bits including wrapping paper, cards, decorations, mini Christmas trees and more. There will be a pop-up bar to keep you on the go.

Carols by Candlelight, Sunday 1st December, Delapre Abbey.

The stunning Delapre Abbey looks beautiful in the day time but even better at night lit by a ray of candles, and you can enjoy it as you listen to the sweet Queen Eleanor Choir in their Dining Room within the Abbey’s Victorian Bouverie Suite, with mulled wine and mince pies included in ticket options.
