Screaming Blue Murder Comedy Club, Friday 10th January – Friday 22nd May, Royal & Derngate.

Held at the underground stage at the Royal & Derngate, this comedy club is one not to be missed, with lots and lots of comedy’s rising stars. Held over lots of dates, check out who’s appearing and when and book in for an evening of giggles.

Circus of Horrors, Wednesday 15th January, Royal & Derngate.

Roll up, roll up to a circus like no other. Prepare for an incredible experience that’s been going for 25 years. Packed full of acts, led by a rock n roll soundtrack, there will be lots of on the edge of your seat moments, at this dramatic but unmissable show. The cast also went far in Britain’s Got Talent, making it to the final.

Orchard Wassailing, Saturday 18th January, Cotesbach Educational Trust.

An ancient tradition is taking place that aims to ward off evil spirits and bless the trees with the best possible harvest later in the year.Dress up warm, get outside and enjoy mulled cider where Matt Black will be the story teller for the evening and Wassail King and Queen will be leading a singalong.

Wedding Fair, Sunday 19th January, Highgate House Hotel.

Highgate House are inviting those looking for a beautiful country house for their big day, packed full of English charm and character. Enjoy a glass of fizz as you view their set up for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, plus suppliers will be there for you to get the finer details sorted to.

Fresh Pasta Making, Sunday 19th January, Cotesbach Educational Trust.

Sam Rouse is leading this interactive class where you will learn how to make some great tasting pasta in a variety of ways. From pappardelle to tagliatelle, have a go with all ingredients you need provided.
