THE GREAT OUTDOORS:

Sywell Classic: Pistons and Props 2019, Saturday 21st September – Sunday 22nd September, Sywell Aerodrome. 

A motoring festival bringing together historic races, hot rods and motorbikes with classic planes and vintage music to set the atmosphere. A great two-day event celebrating classic motoring on the ground and in the air. With live music and camping available make a weekend of it with your family or friends.

Café Del Brampton, Sunday 22nd September, Brampton Halt.

A night of watching the sunset, with good company and even better drinks and food. Whether it’s catch up with friends or date night, this is a perfect night to say goodbye to summer, with global international DJ Ian M.

Spanish Party BBQ and Tequila, Saturday 21st September, Les Olives. 

Les Olives invites you to their grand opening of their garden where you will be treated to a shot of tequila and a grand BBQ. Enjoy great tasting Spanish tapas and entertainment from The Chica Bonita Dance Company.

The Lamplighter Official 10th Birthday Party, Saturday 21st September, The Lamplighter.  

One of Northampton’s most loved pubs are having a special birthday to celebrate their 10th birthday and invite you to come along. There will be great events on from DJ to their launch of their very own beer. They have also had a mini extension and make over so check out their event for more.

Daventry Food Festival, Saturday 21st September, Daventry High Street. 

Back for another year, the Daventry Food Festival returns to tickle taste buds and serve you up a day of delicious food and drink to sample. From treats like cakes and crepes to drinks like cocktails and coffees, enjoy something new and take the best home with you.

The Vintage Boys, Tuesday 17th September, Derngate

Go back in time to the Goden Age of Rock N Roll with The Vintage Boys who will be singing the greatest songs of the 50’s and 60’s. With great harmonies and classic slick dancing with even slicker suits all accompanied by a live band, make way for a high energy performance.

In The Night Garden Live, Tuesday 17th September – Wednesday 18th September, Derngate

One for the kids. Let them experience a perfect musical experience where children’s favourite’s Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka and friends tell a specially-written story using full size costumes and magical puppets with enchanting music and dance.

Glittery Clittery: A Consensual Party, Wednesday 18th September, Castle Theatre. 

An award-winning combo of comedy cabaret and political rave, this is a night of champagne-fuelled extravaganza and will blow not only your minds, but your pants to. Anyone is welcome, even you boys, but the rule stands you can have a dick, just don’t be one. Grab your tickets for this performance from brilliant activities who are trying to change the future one performance at a time.

Rocketman, Saturday 21st September, Boughton House.  

Luna Flix is back at the stunning grounds of Boughton House and this time it’s a very special screening as it is the first time the story of Elton John, Rocketman is showing in Northants. It kicks off just after sunset at around 7:40pm.

LIFESTYLE AND WELL BEING:

Hatha Yoga, Monday 16th September, Magazine Heaven. 

Back by popular demand, this new yoga ritual is now being hosted every Monday evening where you will control your breathing, build warmth, energy and movement, learn yoga poses and relax, unwind and be mindful.

Who thought yoga is just for adults? Kids can now enjoy the benefits of yoga with this non-hot yoga class in their fun pod that is the perfect spot for them to use their imagination and creativity to keep them engaged.

Sywell Grange Wedding Fayre & Teepee Showcase, Sunday 22nd September, Sywell Grange Wedding Venue. 

Be welcomed with a glass of prosecco and welcome pack and goodie bag, before being taken around the great venue for a perfect wedding. There will be lots of stalls from businesses to help make planning your wedding day a little bit easier.
