Father’s Day Trial, Canons Ashby, Mon 11 – Mon 18 June

Bring your Dad and enjoy the Father’s Day Trail together. Explore the grounds and discover parts of Canons Ashby you might not normally notice. Also suitable for Grandads, Husbands, Mums, Aunties and anyone else who wants to have a go. This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.

Arts, Crafts & Collectables, Daventry Museum, Tues 12 June – Fri 24 Aug

Daventry Museum are looking for local artists, crafters and collectors to exhibit their work and showcase collections to celebrate Daventry Arts Festival. It is free entry so you can browse around the work of the best of Northants. Opening times are Tues – Fri 9:30am – 1:30pm and the first Sat of the month 10am – 4pm.

Garden Tour with Supper, Deene Park, Corby, Thurs 21 June

The garden tour will be hosted by Head Gardener Andrew Jones and is a must for gardening enthusiasts. This popular tour takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and can accommodate a group of up to 20 people. Andrew’s horticultural and historical knowledge of the garden will have the visitor gripped from start to finish. Your tour ends at the Old Kitchen Tea Room where you will enjoy a two-course supper prepared by the family chef.

Music Barn Festival, Cranford, Sat 23 June

This festival is set in rural Northamptonshire across two acres of farmland (make sure you bring your wellies) and two disused agricultural buildings and it celebrates the local talent in the area and gives a great community feel. There are a variety of genres which means you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to what to watch as they have a mixed line-up of up and coming bands as well as established artists.
