6 Must Visit Spa & Wellness Spots in Northants
2020 is all about taking care of yourself, so if you have a tiny bit of spare time, these hotels and day spas will give you some well-earned TLC!
Say hello to the super-luxe Homefield Grange Retreat that’s welcomed celebs including Melanie C and Amanda Holden. They offer a whole heap of great packages for their incredible spa which is made from natural stone, wood and slate – making it a tres beautiful hot spot. Their thermal suite will give you time to relax and restore your mind, body and soul and they do day spas or week-long retreats. Starting from £99 their packages are full of new style treatments so you can be sure you’ll leave feeling on top form. And you never know, you might be rubbing shoulders with a celeb or two. Stableyard Spa at Rushton Hall will make you feel totally fresh after you indulge in a treatment in one of their luxurious treatment rooms. With soft lighting, relaxing music and everything you need for pure escape, you’ll feel miles away from the hustle and bustle. Whether you visit for the weekend or a day in the week, their packages are great for all budgets. It’s a fab hotel for most occasions. A romantic stay with a partner or some catch up time with your Mum. You can take advantage of their packages, some including dinner, bed and breakfast plus two treatments. We’ve visited before and had a corker of a stay and we’re sure you will too; it’s won a fair few awards as well. Kettering Park Hotel and Spa has a sizeable pool for doing a couple of laps, a sauna to take some time out, a steam room perfect for a skin cleanse and a spa pool for revitalising; plus a gym if you fancied. With four treatment rooms you can book in for a some pampering and choose from their generous list. Grafton Spa and Wellness is set in the gawjus countryside of the 16th century Wakefield Estate and is an award winning, unique boutique spa, perfect for unwinding and escaping (we’ve been, check it out here). Offering a wide selection of treatments to enjoy, you can spend the rest of the day in their 10-seater hydro therapy pool which contains mineral based water. There’s also an Aromatherapy room and an inviting Aspen Sauna. If it’s a day on your own to escape or a girly day out to celebrate, you can expect to be totally taken care off and spoiled over at Grafton Spa. They’ll even sort you a delicious lunch!
One of Northamptonshire’s most popular spas, Whittlebury is a must visit if you’re looking for a get away at an incredible price (we went in August, have a gander here). More than just a golfing hotel, Hellidon Lakes have a great on site spa for you to relax after you’ve enjoyed that round or two of golf (may as well give it a try!). Located in a gawjus setting, this picturesque hotel’s spa has six treatment rooms and their facilities include a pool, Jacuzzi and a gym if you fancy something a bit more taxing!
